I've submitted a JTAS article to answer the first two problems. Unfortunately it is way oversized - it is a replacement for two chapters in the book, and some of the equipment chapter in the GT core book as well. Several dozen vehicles, about a hundred weapons, a narrative to explain WHY they were designed the way they were designed and how it all comes together into military forces designed to fight higher-TL, lower-TL or equal-TL enemies and a couple of sample units. Maybe you can lobby The Powers That Be to make an exception :-)
