This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Space Force Aquashuttle Mk.VIII v1.0 (TL15)
  Copyright 2011 by Onno Meyer

The Aquashuttle is carried by the ships of an interstellar or perhaps
even intergalactic navy when the mission calls for the exploration of a
water world. Her shape is a rough match for the Space Force Cutter, so
the starships can trade one of their multirole cutters for one of the
more specialized Aquashuttles.
The shuttle could be described as a fat manta, with 30m diameter and
15m height. The top deck has a five-man airlock for surface operations,
while the underside contains a large dock for underwater vehicles. The
dock can be pressurized to create a moon pool, a dry area opening into
the water.
The bridge has ten workstations. Usually four are taken by a captain,
a helmsman, a navigator, and a sensor operator, which leaves six seats
for mission specialists. The Aquashuttle has twenty comfortable cabins,
so there is room for a backup crew as well.
The dock can hold roughly 160 tons of subcraft, and there is room for
another 40 tons of supplies, spares, and robots.
It takes 9 seconds to recharge one disintegrator shot.
