In-setting, it's reasonably expected that in the near future, an
attack will be made on one or more such modular-stations, and that
each and every one is going to have to separate from all the others
and take care of itself (and anyone who was passing through at the
time) for at least a few hours. This is the reason for the airlocks,
and the reason each module needs to at least be able to undock without
assistance.

But an external thingummy to act as a tug is still a good idea. I
might even be able to put one together inside one or two standard
module frames... :)
