This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml Onno Meyer, 2012-04-02
Modified General Products PT-04 Air/Raft v1.0 (GURPS Traveller TL10) Copyright 2012 by Onno Meyer This Air/Raft has been repaired, reconstructed, refitted, and modified often enough that few original systems remain. These days she is carried by an interstellar Far Trader with shady business connections. The contragrav flyer has two front seats, each with a small hatch, and two folding benches, with a large hatch in the rear and a smaller one on top. The rear hatch has a 400-lb. hoist. Heavier loads can be carried as sling load. Her commo suite contains a radio, a microwave uplink, and a mil-spec lasercom for secure transmissions. For navigation, she carries wideband EM sensors, a forward-looking radar, and a radar altimeter. As part of the modifications, there is a 36' by 12' by 8' compartment under the dashboard. The ID marking can be reprogrammed at the touch of a button -- only to simplify travel to different worlds, of course! Unlike the original PT-04, the air/raft now has a sealed hull and life support, but she is not really capable of reentry, mostly due to thermal problems. Subassemblies: Body +3.
