This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Scout Singleship Mk.VIII v1.0 (TL15)
  Copyright 2012 by Onno Meyer

The Singleship is an interstellar exploration craft for one scout. Her
pilot will get all the rewards -- and face all the risks -- that wait on
an unexplored planet.
The Mark VIII has a boxy hull with small stabilizer fins. A forcefield
hatch on the port side allows easy access to the cabin, which contains a
seat for the pilot, a bunk, a tiny toilet, and an automed. Cargo lockers
in the rear of the cabin hold the equipment for surface expeditions. The
avionics bay and the engine room are hard to reach, but nanotech repair
systems take care of any routine maintenance.
It takes 4.7 hours to recharge the power cell for a hyperspace entry,
and 4.8 seconds to recharge one graser shot.

Subassemblies: Body +4.
Powertrain: Four 75,000-lb. mega reactionless thrusters; 150-ton
hyperdrive; two 60,000-lb. contragrav generators; two 12,000-kW
total conversion reactors; 60,750,000-kWs rechargeable power cell.
Occ: 1 RCS, 1 bunk. Cargo: 240 cf.

Design Notes
Body is 1,000 cf, with very good streamlining, lifting body, and
underbelly skids. Structure is medium, cheap, living metal. Armor is
cheap composite. Sealed. Computerized controls. 33.9 cf of empty space.
Empty weight is 15,000 lbs.
