Probkem is, in the real world, cops/police have only what they are told to
do..
I know of late it has been DUIS and like "crimes". Also many crimes are
cross jurisdiction, and with the limted communications until of late, its
been hard to track down someone in New York that is a fugitive or bail
jumper from Alaska..
Cops are not crime fighters, they are law and peace enforcers..
Traffic
DUI
Fights at the local bar
Dometic issues, such as husband and wife having a blow out fight.
Transport to/from jail.
Sometimes health and welfare, not one you hear much about, on the up side.
Yes it can be dangerous, such as when people pull out guns and knives at a
bar fight, had some of those recently. Most of late seem to have been done
by want to be Gang Bangers, and its all juvinile in mentallity.
Alot of discovery of crimes like drug dealing is cause of local people
complaining about it, or accident such as a traffic stop and the cop notices
the smell or paraphanalia of drugs and like..
