One type not mentioned is the "Skip tracer" -- the Traveller Repo Men,
equivalent of the car loan defaulter. The true owner of a ship wants it
back, and will pay a % to recover it (0.5-2%).

Pulling out my copy, the intro also talks about Corporate men who would
look out for a company -- the heroes could work for a megacorp with
holdings across the sector....
