Sounds as if the tank will see a drone or suit long before those (much more
fragile) platforms detect the tank.
This, in my opinion, is very realistic. A larger platform carries larger
sensors. A larger telescope, radar dish or antenna is always better and
usually by a large amount.
The drones and suits will have to compensate by hiding behind terrain or
using other sensors such as disposable drone arrays or satellites.
Or perhaps use a sensor array that is detected but appears to be
something it isn't such as an animal, or farm machinery, or a civilian
aircraft or automobile. Something the tank will see but discount as not
a threat.
