Hello Zan, GURPS 3E is unrealistic where it makes sensor weight linear with range. > The drones and suits will have to compensate by hiding behind terrain or > using other sensors such as disposable drone arrays or satellites. Suits in urban terrain, tanks in open terrain. > Or perhaps use a sensor array that is detected but appears to be > something it isn't such as an animal, or farm machinery, or a civilian > aircraft or automobile. Something the tank will see but discount as not > a threat. Robots has Biomorphic Shielding, but can I put an effective sensor into an animal shape? The 'disguise as civilian' ploy might work better, but perhaps there are laws of war against that -- it would encourage indiscriminate fire on every power source.
