This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Deep Space Operations Craft v1.0 (TL9)
  Copyright 2013 by Onno Meyer

This spacecraft was designed for a setting where interplanetary travel
is starting to become routine. The Deep Space Operations Craft can carry
a large scientific expedition or the kernel of an industrial site. Most
are probably owned by corporations.
The craft has two spin capsules for the crew, which can generate up to
0.2 G, and a main hull with the fusion engine, reactor, hydroponics, and
cargo sections. Each capsule holds twenty double cabins, a control room,
a conference room, and thirty cryosleep units. They are shielded by the
water reaction mass. Often one spin capsule is used by the mission crew
and the other by the flight crew. The main cargo hold is 20' by 20' by
75' with a nominal payload of 300 tons.
The DSOC might be a threatening shadow over the mission of the heroes
in their smaller craft, or the stage for adventure and paranoia between
the different factions in the crew.
The fusion rocket uses 4,000 gallons of reaction mass per hour.

Subassemblies: Body +8, two Pods +7.
Powertrain: 200,000-lb. vectored fusion rocket; 5,000-kW fusion reactor;
