I know that this is going to make people look at me with skepticism, but it is
the truth as I recall it...

Back around 18 years ago, I was at a party with a lot of people in an older
home (built before the 1950's). There was a party going on, and we had a lot
of people there, who were fantasy lovers, sci-fi lovers, and SCADIANS (members
of the Society of Creative Anachronisms). So, where is this leading to, and
why does it relate to Battlesuited individuals?

Picture if you will, some 20 people in a house living room that was large
enough to include a dining area as well. Picture said group of 20 people,
drunk, with very few of them under 200 lbs in weight. Now picture them dancing
to the song "Let's do the time warp again" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Now, how do I know what was going on at the time despite the fact that I was in
the basement of the house and unable to view the people's antics until I rushed
up the basement stairs?

20 people, in unison, with an average weight amongst them, in the high 170's
(at least!) overall, were JUMPING at the same time, in the same room, and
making the ceiling of the basement (ok, the FLOOR) buckle upwards and downwards
in what in a movie, would be called a minor earthquake/tremor.

20 people of 200 lbs apiece is about 4,000 lbs. 20 people of 100 lbs weight is
a single ton of 2,000 lbs. So call it 3+ tons of human flesh, jumping up -
spinning in mid-air a full 180 degree turn, and landing at the same time in the
living room, forcing the floor to buckle visibly - without the floor
collapsing. Wonder how such a floor might respond to a battlesuited figure of
500 to 800 lbs weight?

Just saying... ;)
