Alliance Mobile Infantry Companies

The Alliance operates two battlesuit designs (the light Medusa and the heavy
Cyclops), which use almost identical TO&Es. The Medusa is the most common suit,
used as a general-purpose infantry suit. The Cyclops is intended to engage (or
resist) in assaults and has much better armor.

Mobile infantry companies are the largest units composed only of powered armor
troopers. Mobile armor battalions contain an HQ platoon, three MI companies,
and various support assets, including other vehicles. The Mobile infantry
brigade is the largest unit to primarily consist of powered armor and is made
up of two MI battalions. A MI company or battalion may be part of a tank or
mechanized infantry division. Additionally, there are six independent MI
battalions (four light and two heavy) and four independent MI companies (all
light).

A Medusa company weighs 35 tons and a Cyclops company weighs 86 tons (loaded
suits but no additional supplies). A mixed battalion with one Cyclops company
and two Medusa companies weighs 156, plus battalion assets.

A mobile infantry company (117 men total) consists of:

Company HQ (10 men)
    Company commander (Rank 4)
    Company XO (Rank 2)
    two forward observers
    two medics
    four mechanics

Weapon Platoon (20 men) with
    HQ (2 men)
3 two man Sprint launcher teams
6 two man 60mm payload rifle (Medusa) or 100mm payload rifle (Cyclops) teams

3 Mobile Infantry Platoons (87 men total), each with
    Platoon HQ 2 men)
    Weapon section (4 men)
        2 two man ATGM teams
3 Mobile infantry squads (27 men total), each with
        Squad leader
2 fire teams (4 men), each with
            3 riflemen
            ATGM gunner
