That tends to be the case in a lot of situations with Traveller -- it works out
better to import higher technology than use locally-produced equipment.

Yeah, I'm getting a picture a Me 262, a Gloster Meteor or Lockheed P-80 trying
to intercept a flying saucer and the results appear comical.
