This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

Corsair Raider v1.0 (TL11)
  Copyright 2016 by Onno Meyer

The Raider is an expendable interstellar scout and fighter. She might
be looking for tramp freighters or frontier settlements on her own, but
more often a Corsair Raider is the first sign of a mothership in the
sector.
The starship has seats for the pilot, the chin gunner, and the dorsal
turret gunner. There are three bunks for a second shift, who also serve
as the boarding party. The cabin is very cramped and the cargo lockers
are tiny -- if the pirates strike it rich, the loot gets stowed in the
bunkroom. Some naval analysts believe that this is a deliberate design
choice, a way to make the Corsair Raider crews dependent on the pirate
kingpins and the fences in their hidden bases.
A full load of ammunition and provisions is $27,440. At full sublight
thrust, it takes 12 hours to recharge the power cell for one hyperspace
entry and 0.14 seconds to recharge one cannon shot.

Subassemblies: Body +4, full-rotation Turret +1.
Powertrain: Two 30,000-lb. vectored super reactionless thrusters; 50-ton
hyperdrive; 4,500-kW super MHD fusion reactor; 20,250,000-kWs
  rechargeable power cell.
Occ: 2 NCS, 1 NCS (half in Turret), 3 bunks. Cargo: 2.5 cf.
