I thought I would weigh in on this pronunciation issue because a couple of
weeks ago, Raul suggested I perform the up-grade procedure again because my
Book Sense XT would come on in the document folder, read the first title
instead of the title of the book I was actually reading. I could then read
the book.
I had a couple of things happen with trying to do this, but finally
performed the upgrade or update procedure again for the 1.1 firmware and in
reading BookShare books, both in DAISY format and by using the XML files, I
am getting more mispronunciations. I am hearing things like Sacramentoo
instead of Sacramento Neese instead of nice and the usual problem with the
er's in words. Frankly, this seems a bit more than it was in the original
1.1 firmware upgrade I performed when it first came out. I don't think this
is my imagination, but I don't know what is being tinkered with at the
programmer level and what might be changing, but either I am noticing more
of this or it is getting worse instead of better.

I have the "XT" model. Maybe that's something that happened just with
those models.

Turn right, then go straight!
Jeremiah 29:11-14 (Amplified Bible)
11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord,
thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you
hope in your final outcome.
12Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and
I will hear and heed you.
13Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital
necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.(A)
14I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from
captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to
which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the
place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.
