I would agree with that as well as to suggest you check the bottom-most
button on the right side of the unit when the speaker faces you and is at the
top. Make sure that switch is in its up position because if it is in the down
position, your keys will be locked.
Make sure your battery is in and plug the unit into power. It takes about two
hours for a full charge, but once you are plugged in, the unit should work
anyway.

I followed the instructions and the unit is not doing anything. It was
talking when I first inserted the battery but is no longer talking at all.
