Besides that, if you're going to have a clock that can be used while the
Book Sense is turned off, then the battery needs to be used. It can't keep
time with no power.

Subject: Re: [GW-Booksense] Running down the battery
Hello. I agree that it would be a perfect world if the battery didn't
drain when not in use. In fact, I wish my cell phone did that and that my
netbook did that as well. I have not powered up my netbook for several
days and when I last used it, the battery was at 95 percent. I just
powered it on and wow, it's down to 65 percent.
Many thanks.

i've done that before. what would be nice to see in the booksense is a
way of turnning the unit off so say you're using it and then turn it off
and then a few days turn it on and the battery stays at the same point it
was when you turn it off. currently, when you turn it off and then turn
it on later, the battery goes down slightly or more depending on when you
last used it. this problem goes for all gw hardware products well,
notetakers anyway.

Hello. We have this marked down to handle it better. Perhaps the
BookSense should automatically power itself off when the battery gets
extremely low so it won't lock up.
many thanks.

Has anyone run down the booksense battery until it stopps playing?
After doing this, I connect the ac adaptor, press power for 2 seconds,
the booksense will not power on. The only way I can get the booksense
to
power on is to do a reset.
