Piece of advice for you all.

I have been testing my XT and though I cannot definately confirm this, it 
appears that if you turn on the lock switch after powering down the unit, 
then your battery will not drain since the clock is also disabled.

Try it and see!

Come on guys and gals.

We have had about 40 messages regarding running down the battery.

Read my lips.  The battery runs down because, even though the unit is turned 
off, the clock is still running.
