Louis, You should download the WMA file and try it out on the BookSense anyway. I'm not convinced that the publishers are actually using the full DRM protection on some audio files.
My wife has a conventional and inexpensive MP3 player with no clock or timer, yet she can download WMA files and listen to them on her device. Also, they don't "disappear" after a specified period of time as DRM protected files claim to. Let us know how it works. -----Original Message----- From: Louis [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, January 07, 2010 10:23 PM To: gw-booksense Subject: [GW-Booksense] protected WMA media files Hello. I have a book that I am going to check out from Overdrive but I am a little disappointed because the only way I can listen to it is on my computer. I thought how nice it would be if I could listen to it on my BookSense. I would really appreciate it if Raul or someone from GW can give an update of how far along they are from making it possible for the BookSense to support this type of media. Thanks.
