Hello Chip. There are several messages you wrote late last year on how
disappointing your BookSense purchase was because of various problems
such as Bluetooth and audio book handling. Yet so far since version 2.0
has been released, we have heard nothing from you on this list. So does
this mean that you find the issues resolved and don't have any problems
to report or have you given up?
You had indicated that I made you feel like you couldn't state your
opinion about the BookSense, which I still maintain is far from the
truth. And the fact that you wrote below shows that you are ok with your
opinions. In short, that is great and I'm glad to see you writing on the
list again. So if you don't mind, go ahead and let us know if any of
your issues were resolved with the release of version 2.0 of the
BookSense software. I'm curious about the Bluetooth and other annoyances
you were experiencing other than the ones which have been stated already
such as the pronunciations, the NLS volume, and the lack of WMA DRM
support which we clearly stated was not a part of version 2.0.
many thanks.

Yes, I had 3 reasons for paying almost double for my BS, and the WMA was one
of the 3, so I'm also pretty disappointed.

Subject: [GW-Booksense] protected WMA media files
Hello. I have a book that I am going to check out from Overdrive but I am a
little disappointed because the only way I can listen to it is on my
computer. I thought how nice it would be if I could listen to it on my
BookSense. I would really appreciate it if Raul or someone from GW can give
an update of how far along they are from making it possible for the
BookSense to support this type of media. Thanks.
Louis
