I have never been able to figure out how accurate those numbers are on any
of these battery systems. My Book Sense will usually quickly drop to 9 when
I am reading, but holds there for quite a while. Now my cell phone will give
me 7 bars of power for an indefinite period of time and then, drops very
suddenly. I just routinely put things on chargers after so much time. My
Book Sense goes on its charger at night when I am reading, and I use it on
battery during the day if I am reading.

That logic makes sense, but unlike others here, my unit seems to err on the
high side. I had been reading for a bit over a half hour today and my
battery was still at ten.

This really makes sense if you think about it. 10 means 100%. The very
second you use any power at all, you're no longer at 100%, and therefore, no
longer at 10. 9 is much more realistic. It means anywhere from 90% to 99%.

ok, I'll chime in too -- my booksense also charges to 10, but it doesn't
stay there very long, IMO

I've had my booksense almost a year and mine always goes to 10 when I charge
it.

You know, I've had my BookSense for 4 months and I've only had the battery
go to 10 once and it was two nights ago when I plugged it into the USB on
my
computer. I've charged my BS all night plugged into the wall and the
higher
it's ever gotten was 9. I've had hours and hours of reading without
charging and it's been perfect, but I'm sort of curious about this as
well.

No matter how long I charge my Booksense--two weeks was my last
try--the battery level is reported to be 9, never 10. I removed the
battery to reset the unit, thinking that something--well--needed to
be reset. Now, off the charger for ten minutes, the battery level
instead of being 9 is 8. Is there a way to correct this???

thanks for any suggestions.
