Wow so you can repro both problems with both browsers?

Explorer 7.0.

What browser are you using?

I've been having a browse mode issue with certain types of combo
boxes. Forgive me for not knowing their exact name, but I'm
referring to those combo boxes that automatically go to a new page
as soon as you select something. I've become used to pressing
alt+down arrow to open the list, then selecting something, and
pressing enter. After this is done, however, though I hear the
progress of the new loading page, nothing is spoken until I press
something. For example, the arrow keys. Then, when at last I do
press something, it acts as though Browse mode is just now turning
on. I've experimented with this to make sure it wasn't simply a
coincidence. I selected something, and waited several seconds
beyond what I believed it would take to load the page. I was
hearing no progress reports either, so I pressed an arrow key, and
about a half second later, it completed loading.
Also, another problem I forgot to express before. This could
perhaps relate to the Eloquence issues people are experiencing.
When filling out a form, (the form this occured on was the Script
Central Sign Up form), one cannot type too fast. If you type
quickly and then press the tab key, I've found that the
information for the next field isn't read to you. You hear nothing
at all, in fact. This threw me off when filling out the form,
causing me to have to shift-tab back to the previous item, then
tab again to the next. At any rate, I think I have now covered all
the issues I've noticed.

Hey All,
Is any one else experiencing flaky browse mode in 7 beta.
I posted the problem earlier. It doesn't happen all the
time, but it does happen for all applications that use browse mode:
Firefox, Thunderbird, Eudora, Windows Help and Acrobat Reader.
It either stops speaking when navigating (using the arrow
keys, browse mode hot keys or tab), but
control-shift-w and similar read window keys work or it is
reading a page different than what is in the client area
and then control-shift-w and control-shift-r read the same
page the navigation keys are reading which is different
than that displayed.
The problem seems to happen most often when the application
is first launched or after switching back from another application.
Sincerely,
David Gerry
