The only times my filters don't work in Outlook Express is when folks use
the BCC field. If they're too annoying about it, I can always block them.
I use the list address with the filter choice "where the to or cc field
contains."

Sometimes if a user puts multiple addresses mail programs choke. If BCC is
allowed to be used, this wouldn't work. And lots of other situations can
give one problems.

I don't see how that is any easier than filtering on the to and cc
headers.

This would be a whole lot easier if there were a subject tag/identifier
for
the list. Other lists have this tag so that you can use filters more
easily.

In view of the enormous number of messages regarding the beta I thought it
might be good to send them all to a folder of their own. I set a message
rule in Outlook Express which stated that all messages from gw-info should
be moved to a particular folder. The result was that 4 messages went to
this
folder but another 15 ended up in my in-box. Could someone give me advice
as
to how to put all gw-info messages in a particular folder and nowhere
else?
Thanks for your indulgence,
