Are you sure you you had the SAPI Eloquence installed. It is true that
it shipped with pre-7.0 versions of Window-Eyes but it would only get
installed if you told it to. With the eci Eloquence in 7.0, you always
get it even if you didn't say so. If you have the SAPI 5.0 version
installed, it should be in the add/remove programs listing. Do you see
the Eloquence engines in the select synth dialog under SAPI? Again, if
they aren't there, not in the add/remove then you just don't have them
installed.

The new eci Eloquence 6.1 that Window-Eyes 7.0 beta 1 ships is NOT
compatible with the 5.0 SAPI Eloquence that Window-Eyes pre 7.0
shipped. If you enumerate over the SAPI engines and then go to the
eci Eloquence engine then you will not see any engines. It is also
possible when yous tart combining them both that your system will
become unstable. So it is very important to remove the 5.0 SAPI
Eloquence if you plan on using the eci Eloquence.
