Is your window maximized? I cannot reproduce this behavior in Windows
Mail under Vista. I'll have to see about testing it from OE in XP.

8. Press Control-C to copy the material to the Windows clipboard.
9. Compose the text of your personal reply as usual.
10. Shift-Tab to the To: field.
11. Backspace out the list's e-mail address and press Control-V to
paste in the previously copied text.
12. Clean up the unneeded material to ensure only the user's e-mail
address is shown.
13. Send the message.
