I don't know if the feds actually subsidize them, but I bet they give them quite a bit of business. If it's anything like rehabilitation counselors in California, those guys seem to think that there isn't anything other than Freedom Scientific products.

I don't suppose they're big enough to warrant anti-trust scrutiny yet, especially with the current administration.
