You may be right John re. Uk support for JFW, although I've heard mixed
stories as to the quality of JFW UK support. One thing's for certain, that
support, good, bad or indifferent, comes at quite a price hike over the US
price.
The "support" and promotion of JFW in the UK has still left many users
blistfully ignorant of the capabilities of JFW, including, by now, the
controversial place marker feature, whatever you might think about its
usefulness.
I've never been overly impressed by the much praised JFW interface, so
smoothly and confidently asserted as a fact by a well known spokesperson for
the product. Still, maybe at the end of the day it is what you get used to.
I don't intend to be dragooned by anyone in the large charities or
established business community into using JFW on public computers or work
situations, but given that Window-Eyes by its very nature has forced me to
get to grips with the way the Windows interface works, then I think I have a
head start over JFW users who attempt to move in the other direction, or to
any other screen reader for that matter.
I'd just end by saying that the direct lsupport we lack in the UK is made up
for largely by this list and the undeniable fact that a privat company like
GW is more responsive to customer needs and feedback than a more remote
corporate.
Cheers,
Ray.

Unfortunately, JFW enjoys much better support in the UK. Everyone here
knows that I am no Jaws fan but without adequate post-sale support
Window-Eyes cannot will not be a viable alternative to Jaws in the UK and
I'm not even talking about scripting.
