I tried that and more times than not it would tell me that WindowEyes was already running. Very rarely it would reload and be okay, but not most of the time. Gail I have the same problem of speech loss, but after setting a sound to play when a program closes I discovered that Window Eyes was unloading itself on its own. It would do it anywhere without warning so it wasn't really a loss of speech. Others who are having this problem should try loading Window Eyes again after the speech loss and see if speech returns.
