thank you for that, I presume you can make other "accounts" from that
dialog as well?

Which account, the "all users?" account? Interesting, since I have
mine using a "key note gold" synthesizer, and every time at
computer shut down, my key note speaks the shut down message, or
"installing updates" message. How does one load that other account
into window-eyes so things can be changed? :)

Yes, Jeff. I don't know how or why, but the all users Window-Eyes account
somehow gets loaded during shutdown. While I was trying to make the beta
blow up and changing settings on my first computer, which is still using WE
6.1, I switched the All Users account on that machine to the DECTalk
synthesizer. It is still set that way. Now, when I shut that computer
down, DECTalk sometimes comes up to tell me what is shutting down. I can
get the computer to do this fairly consistently if I have had occasion to
close and then reopen Window-Eyes at some point before the shutdown. For
instance, sometimes I cannot get a page to load, pressing the browse mode
key or the F5 key only nets me an error ding and the message, "Downloading
page." The only option I have at that point is to open the WE control
panel, shut WE down, then restart it again. At the end of the day,
Window-Eyes saying, "Windows is shutting down, Windows is shutting down" has
become a familiar phrase. I never mentioned it, since it doesn't cause a
problem.

I have noticed this before the betas, that when shutting down, if it
takes a long time either from updates being installed or a slow network
Window-eyes will talk. It seems as though the logon Window-eyes is
loading and speaking until the machine is ready to shut down.

It isn't possible to do this because the OS is in the state of
shutting down and we can't make sure that WE stays loaded through
this entire process.
