While I know that some on the list use Goldwave and soundforge from Sony, I normally use studio recorder from aph, American Printing House. Studio recorder costs about 200 dollars. ----- Original Message ----- From: David To: WE English mailing list Sent: Monday, September 08, 2008 1:03 PM Subject: Recording software
I am looking for a good, accessible, easy to setup/use recording software. I need to record sound from the line-in jack on the sound card, but also want to be able to record from the digital input, as welll as record from certain (predefined) streamings. What is an important feature, that I am looking for, is the chance of presetting a start time, and recording length. That is, I want to be able to set the software, so that it will start recording from a given source, Monday at 10:5Pm, and end recording after 43 minutes - for example. Mainly it is important to record in .wav format, but if it can be done directly in other formats, that's just a bonus. I don't want to pay several hundreds of dollars for a software, not knowing if it is accessible with WE. Why, I ask the listers, if anyone have found a good software - freeware, shareware, or fully paid for - that you find meeting the above requirements. Thanks for all your response, and feedback!
