the problem with this is the preferences are stored as cookies and are erased when firefox is closed. i do not want any history, passwords etc. left behind when i exit firefox. ----- Original Message ----- From: Raul A. Hi. You can fix this by going to google.com and preferences and disabling the auto-search. Then this behavior will not happen.
