Hi. You can fix this by going to google.com and preferences and
disabling the auto-search. Then this behavior will not happen.

For some reason, this mainly involves doing Google searches. If I use
my Browse keys to go down to the form, hit ENTER to turn off Browse mode
and type my search criteria, Browse mode automatically turns on and I
need to continue doing a CTRL-SHIFT-A to disable it. I don't have this
with IE7. Is there anything I can try with Window-eyes to eliminate
