Pat Why shouldn't authors charge for scripts, especially if they are customed designed, require a great deal of work, and provide added value? Sure, we all like something for nothing, agreed. Do you, at Ferguson, provide your services gratis? Of course, you don't. And scripting, particularly for software, can be a potentially income providing outlet for programmers.
