Of course GW charge to be on this list. It is incorporated into the charge they make for the Window-eyes package. It may not be itemised as a separate charge, but it is their. I have to say though that the charge they make for window-eyes and any tech support on a one to one basis, via phone or by e mail list is worth it.
As for charging for scripts, well someone has the skill to write desireable scripts. They put the time, effort and know how into it, then of course they should be entitled to charge. Ever heard of Bill Gates and Microsoft, well that's exactly what he did, its called Capatilism, exploiting the market or servicing supply and demand, or indeed any other name you want to call it. Its legal and fair, and if someone can write scripts that benefit another and wants to charge for it that is entirely up to them, as long as they pay their taxes, lol! -----Original Message----- From: Pat Ferguson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 05 January 2009 21:43 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Scripts I would Pay For Hi Mike and Everyone, I think scripts should be free, but that doesn't mean they are going to be free. I realize people have to make a living, and just because I said they should be free, doesn't mean they are going to be. And, you ask me if we charge for our services! Well, I have never, ever charged for a tech support call. You check out our catalog at http://www.fergusonenterprises.com Tell me if you see anything about us charging for services! !!!! If people want to charge for scripts, they have the right to do that. Does GW Micro charge to be on this list! Of course not. Are we charging each other to help one another? Of course not. I don't understand why there is such a weird additude on this list.
