Hi. I had forgotten that we did make a change to fix the crashes
experienced with wlm2009. These fixes will be available in Window-Eyes 7.1.
You can blame Mike Lawler for my lack of full information earlier on
this one. <grin>.

a Window-Eyes issue? Like I said, these crashes don't happen when WE is not

We are not seeing the crashes you describe, but we are seeing that focus
is changed to the input window a lot more often. Unfortunately this is a
new method of Live Messenger. if you are in the history window and you
press home, end, or some Window-Eyes hot keys, focus is automatically
moved back to the input window.

Well, I'm a little disappointed with it. They fixed the reading of the
contact list in the latest version, but I am still getting crashes a
lot, it happens mostly when I am first signing in to Windows Live
Messenger, and it will tell me that Windows Live communications platform
has stopped working. These crashes don't happen when WE is not
running. Also when I am trying to arrow through the message history of
a conversation focus always wants to go back to the input edit box. A
lot of times I am not even able to arrow through the convo history or
review what I am typing because I just get a ding and Window-Eyes says

this. Is Windows Live Messenger 2009 supposed to work? Or is it
recommended that we stay with WLM 2008?
