Hello John,

Nod32 is great and I have used symantec for business as well as avast home
edition. Symantec for business is far better than the Norton product line.
And avast has a speech friendly interface.

I actually use all three of these in different situations and am happy with
the results. They all work well with window eyes. No matter which one you
choose, you will be pleased.

One more thing to mention is that avast is free. So even if you choose
another option, you can always try avast at any time. I use it on all my
home PC's now, and have had no tribble at all.

Just pick one and go with it, you should be fine.

/David

Subject: Antivirus program

I'm in the process of getting a new computer. The guys who are putting it
together for me typically offer two options for antivirus protection: Avast
for home users and symantec for business users. I seem to remember that
symantec is not particularly speech friendly. I'm currently using Nod-32.
I'm inclined to stay with that program, but was curious what folks thought
of symantec, Avast or possibly Mcafee.
Thanks for the help.
