I ditched Symantec almost a year ago, striking huge difficulties with it with respect to its interface.

The guys who are putting it together for me typically offer two options for antivirus protection: Avast for home users and symantec for business users. I seem to remember that symantec is not particularly speech friendly. I'm currently using Nod-32.
