Hello,
Don't let the response of this one guy make you think there aren't people on the list who are there to help. For some reason this John G fellow always reacts in a negative way to my postings. I think I asked a reasonable question since for some unknown to me reason placemarkers do not work consistently on my two computers.Whether others are having this same problem I don't know and my posting did not in any way indicate that placemarkers weren't working in general terms. ----- Original Message ----- From: "slery" <[email protected]>

Is there a list for those of us that need basic help because we are just
learning WE?

From these comments, this is obviously not the list for those of us that
need to use WE while we are still going through the manual. I personally
can't afford GW's training workshops and haven't been blind all my life thus
giving me the "innate" knowledge of screenreader use.

yes, why not take your own advice, you damn hypocrit. I and many
others on this list are sick to the back teeth of Don and a handful
of others who use the list as an emotional overflow channel. They
never read the manual, of course, they'd never in a million years
entertain the notion that maybe the problem is much closer to home.
Almost every damn thread ends up in some sweeping statement about GW
or window eyes being defective. It's never the poster's own fault,
always someone else in the wrong. My god, how typical is that of our
modern age.
I don't call that constructive and you standing up for them are no
better than them. and pray tell me, you paragon of virtue and
righteousness, how many times have you had anything constructive and
helpful to offer another list member?
Somebody pass me a hanky before I'm totally overwhelmed by the stench
of hypocrisy.
