Great thinking Mike:
I know nothing about those thingys but if the site generates dynamic content
or is Ajax enabled I could see where fixed placemarkers might get messed up.
They are likely addressed either off the page top or some point in the page.
If the addressing changes dynamically, I would guess the placemarker would
not point to the same content.
PS: I do not like the tone of this list lately and expect Aaron or someone
else will be removing some problems.

Don's placemarker problem is with the Bank of America site

He successfully creates the marks and they work. They them may or may not
work on subsequent visits to the page.
I am guessing that perhaps the displays of the pages are not always
consistent causing the difficulty.
Don, what exactly are you having the placemarkers key upon?
