Well, the script gives you the choice of using the focused window or active window, so I would think that would pretty much have someone covered. worth a shot anyhow.

A good idea although sometimes the browse window may be partially hidden. The script only captures what you can read with the mouse, if I'm not mistaken.

In addition, you could also probably do it with the GW Micro script called Virtual View. I can't recall if this one ships with WE, but you can always find it and get more info from

sswitch off browse mode, left click in the table and copy the content
That should preserve the tabular layout. Let us know how you get on.

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to copy from a table on the internet, and to be able to paste it somewhere ehse either in an edit field or document and to get it to maintain the same formatting? Because I've tried before and no matter whether I use windoweyes or jaws, it just seems to put each colum on a different line. Which obviously doesn't look right. So is there a way that this can be done and if so how can this be done??

Thanks.
