Hi, you are correct that a script can be made to handle this. Currently
there is one right now which tells you the line and column of the cursor
similarly to how we do it for Word. Perhaps this might be a starting
point. You can always make this type of request on Script Central.
Many thanks.

Hi Folks,
I'm wondering if anyone has a way, short of counting, while
typing in notepad, to know when you reach the right margin, like a bell
on a typewriter. Is this a kind of thing that a script could be written
to do?
Thanks,
Rusty

suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best
friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
