Hello kelly. The accept and edit buttons have not changed from 2006 to 2009. However you are correct in that the accept all button is gone. You can place the mouse pointer on the transaction and press right click. Now arrow down and you will see accept as well as accept all. This is the same as it was in 2006 as well. What I'm finding annoying however is that if a transaction is new, I used to be able to click on it and my cursor would be placed in the edit box to enter in the transaction correctly rather than accepting it blindly. For example, to change the date, or the payee name. I can no longer do this with Quicken 2009 as tabbing across the edit boxes is not reading the populated information, and sometimes the Quicken menu bar is spoken. So this is most annoying. Other than that, it's what you must use if you want to continue this type of online banking access. i too was using Quicken 2006 and had to upgrade because of the support stopping April 30.

Cheers.,

All,

Online access for things like banking downloads for Quicken 2006 ends in a
few days so I decided to try Quicken 2009. I'm wondering if anyone has
figured out how to accomplish a couple different tasks that so far I've not
figured out how to accomplish in 2009.

1. Accepting downloaded transactions in a register
In 2006 when you had downloaded transactions, there were accept and accept
all buttons near the bottom of the screen for the given register. In 2009
I'm not finding these buttons with Window-Eyes. What I do find is that if I
click on a new transaction, accept and edit words appear below the
transaction. However clicking on these words doesn't seem to do anything
and I didn't find any graphics near the words that I could click on.

2. Updating Online Features
I don't know when this started but in 2009 if your bank supports web
connect, you can now download transactions directly from Quicken. In 2006
at least, you had to manually download the QFX file and then Quicken would
import. On the accounts screen, several of my accounts now show an
indication that web connect is available. If I click on an account, there's
text that says enable web connect but no check box or other item I can find
to click on. I see other check boxes for things like include in net worth
and such.

Thanks,

Kelly
