Just for clarification, JAWS has not totally removed their version of browse
mode. they have created a system where forms mode is automatically turned on
and off. in an ideal world, this means you would almost never have to
manually switch between modes. however this implementation is so terrible
that when I use jaws I revert to the former way jaws worked. when I use
system access, it works much better than the jaws solution. GWMicro will
most likely have a far superior implementation when it is released. it will
be worth the wait.

Subject: Browse mode question

Greetings. Just wondering. It's my understanding that JAWS no longer has
their forms mode. Are we going to get lucky and get rid of Browse mode
completely? I wish we would! It would be nice to just type in an edit box
without having to turn the thing on or off. Also, when it is off, you
miss things on other lines if you're trying to fill out a form.
