Internet explorer or ff has no means of moving to headings moving to text areas etc. you need a brows mode virtual buffer to allow for this functionality. Also brows mode virtual buffer formats the page for easier reading allows for extended table movement allows you to find controls on the page place mark parts of the page of interest. Sorry I don't understand why you would want to get rid of brows mode. It's my understanding that JAWS no longer has their forms mode. Are we going to get lucky and get rid of Browse mode completely? I wish we would! It would be nice to just type in an edit box without having to turn the thing on or off. Also, when it is off, you miss things on other lines if you're trying to fill out a form.
