Hi Larry,

just an fyi, outlook 2003 has an option which allows you to force all
email to be displayed in plain text format; choose tools | options, and
in the preferences tab, click the email options button, and find the
checkbox for "read all email in plain text format". hopefully that
still exists in outlook 2007?

I would expect the html reading problem will be resolved in the next
release (don't we always?).

I absolutely agree about the follow-up feature of outlook, which I use
all the time, in addition to the task options, and the calendar (each
has it's particular usefulness). I also use the journal feature when I
mark an item as completed, so that I can specify more details about when
it was completed, etc.

one thing that bothers me is that if I'm out of the room when a reminder
window opens, when I return I don't have a clue that there's a reminder
displayed. I've written a collection of routines to correct a list of
MS Office annoyances like this one, and in this case I have a script
play a sound file once a minute while the reminder window is open.

I'll eventually get it together and publish this collection of MS Office
routines, I just wanted to let you know this one would be included, in
case you too have found yourself missing a meeting or whatever because
you didn't hear the reminder window open.
