Hi, All. I would like to make a suggestion concerning notification of
difficulties with GW Micro's web site. If it is possible, I hope that if
there are problems with GW Micro's web site being down, or any web site
for that matter, can customers be notified in a timely manner that a site is
down so that we customers can avoid or not be bombarded with messages such
as I cannot access the site, etc., etc. In other words, is there a way in
which we can be notified that the site is down? While not everybody will
know that a site is down unless they try to access it, surely, there must
be a way to notify us. I'm sorry, but in a situation such as this, I don't
appreciate reading messages such as so and so needs to check their computer.
It makes me want to scream that the site was down, don't you get it? Ok,
not everybody knew that the GW Micro site was down. But man alive! It was
frustrating receiving script errors at start up and wondering why I couldn't
connect to script central from the install packages script. I made a call
to my ISP and had a frustrating interaction with one of those personnel who
could not speak decent English who suggested clicking this and that icon to
optimize my browser. I suggested to him that I try accessing another site
because he said the modem was showing I was connected just fine. The other
site connected just fine. Had I known that the GW Micro site was down, I
could have avoided dealing with my ISP's tech support personnel in the first
place. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michael Massey
