Michael Might I suggest that you are creating a mountain out of a molehill. I would have never called my isp if one website had not been available; if I would do that, I'd be spending more time talking with reps than being online. Secondly, how would you expect such notifications be made given the tools GWMicro uses come from its website. Moreover, it might be possible, given that this happened to be over the weekend, that no one from GwMicro was aware of this until showing up for work this morning.
A little commonsense would suggest that script error msgs such as you got are a result of a GWMicro website failure. That is one of the reasons I turn automatic updating/notification off on scripts; it causes more headaches than benefits -- and just how often are most things updated anyway. If anyone should have been alarmed, it would be the company itself as that is a source of sales, providing product info, demos, and the like. granted, you could post no msgs for a day or so, not update anything, and the like, but then again I see that as no big thing. Sometimes, it is best to take a deep breath and place things in perspective. He who has learned to pray has learned the greatest secret of a holy and happy life.
