The option would be good to have; otherwise, recently ran into the situation
in which I was trying to uninstall windoweyes 6.1 and install 7.11, and, for
whatever reason, I was getting the message that there was still another
version of window eyes on my system, from which point I couldn't proceed any
further until learning of the emergency uninstall on the disc's advanced
options. Only after that was I able to proceed with the installation.

Well, there are other people that wold prefer to have an option of a
removal istallation from all programs. This should be relatively
speaking little or no extra work in future editions of window-eyes. In
fact, it would be nice. More or less Jim and people of his elk are
more ddvanced window-eyes than your typical user. This means they fin
that why have extra when you have enough as is. Then, the novice users
are detered because they don't know all of those extra keyboard
shortcuts. However, it's good all round to do this measure to
encourage new window-eyes users at first. No harm no foul in my
opinion. Don't take anything personally guys come on we are all apart
of the same team. We have enough in life to divide us up

something like "Uninstall Window-Eyes" that would then launch the

Jim: continueing on at this point, I think hearing from GW Micro staff
personally on this suggestion being worthless would be a much better

Only make a statement about my suggestion when you have thought it
through properly. You are obviously not considering every point
possible and only consider it as "pointless."

I think the suggestion has more merit than one might think. This is
because not all users have access to the Add/Remove feature of Windows.
Those who work in large organizations with serious security concerns
(sometimes over-concerned) do not have access to Add/Remove. That
feature is available only to certain members of IS with fairly high
security rights.
I cannot tell you how many times I've been frustrated by not having
access to Add/Remove. I concede that this is perhaps more a problem of
administration within my own organization, but that's a solid brick
wall.
At least it is a factor which makes the suggestion worth considering.

I had just one simpol suggestion for the Window-Eyes program menu. The
suggestion is to include an uninstaller option inside the Window-Eyes
sub menu. Another idea would be to include the Window-Eyes removal
utility not on ly on the cD, but to also include it as an option of
the Window-Eyes program itself.
What do the rest of you think? I thought I'd see what the main
Widnow-Eyes developers thought of this suggestion.
