Okay guys. What's the easiest way to learn fire fox? I have it on my computer at home. But, even if I mark it as a default, it seems to load slower than IE 8, instead of going to my home page that I put in along time ago, it wants to go back to the last web page I typed in, I don't remember which version I have on my computer but so far I wasn't impressed. Maybe I'm just use to using microsoft. Oh and control o wouldn't open a web page. Control w worked though. Do windows commands not work with fire fox?

I will not get into all the specifics as to what i do for best performance, but i will list the 4 most important things to keep in mind. 1. Turn preview pane off. This is done from the view/layout menu or by pressing F8. 2. From Tools/Options, uncheck the load Thunderbird start page. 3. Uncheck the compose html messages in your account settings. 4. From Tools/Options/Advanced/Read, choose the radio button to open new messages in an existing window rather than in a new tab. This way you can press esc to close a message when you are done. I may consider doing a podcast on this since people have been asking about Thunderbird and WE of late.
