Thanks, Suzy,

I've saved your response, because I never dreamed we could get so fancy in
Outlook. Nice to know that someone out there really knows this stuff. I try to
save most email that contains useful information, for future reference, but the
real trick is changing the header to something really meaningful. Anyway,
thanks for jumping in.

Hi Louis,

The method you described for adding information to the Address book doesn't put
information into Outlook's Contacts folder. It adds the email address to
something more like a replied to list. Think of it like the directory versus the
call history in a cell phone. I don't know how many addresses this list will
hold, so I tend to add any email address I intend to write to on a regular basis
to the Contacts folder.

Don't know if there's a direct keystroke that does that specifically, but she
could always reply to the message whose address she wants to retain, or outright
send a message to the new address to be saved.

After that, the next time she needs to communicate, type the first letter of the
desired email address in the "TO" field, and down-arrow until the desired
address pops up, then hit enter to accept, then tab to the next field desired,
etc. Always worked for me.
